Background Information: We are Telemarketing Voice Over Internet Protocol(VOIP) Long Distance services to Business and Residential clients in Ontario. My territory is limited to the Province(State) of Ontario in the country of Canada. However the call can terminate anywhere in Ontario or North America. When I make a sales call and the client is paying $40.00 a month and we offer unlimited calling in the Province for anything less it is an easy sale to make. So a list of clients with high long distance phone bills both residential and commercial would be helpfull. COMMERCIAL ------------ 1) I am looking for a vertical industry to target market by telephone solicitation, preferably several industries that spend lots of money on telephone calls within Canada or to the USA. Is there a listing of average telephone bill comparisions per industry? (I know that accountants use industry ratios to see what percentage is spent on Rent, Light and even Telephone, I just need a comparison of industries)Ie A lawyer may spend $400 per month while a shoe store spends $30 per month on long distance domestically. Even US data would show a trend for my purposes. Would part of my answer be with the big dollar Canada to US exporters? ie more phone calls required to place orders! RESIDENTIAL ------------ 2) For the residential market. Ideally I need a list of names and telephone numbers from all of the baby BELLS. It all comes down to creating a profile of my target customer. I have read a US based study on average phone rates for long distance. The question is, Where do I find a list for Ontario residents who pay alot in long distance. Ie the top end / top quartile of a list of long distance phone customers. 3) In the VOIP industry would I have the most success targeting small business, medium business or residential? VOIP is a market where people will be converting to cheaper products, Who has been converting? |
