"Integrated Enterprise-Level Software" is a very loose and subjective description of a huge class of software. As worded, it is not a specific piece of software, but a practically meaningless collection of buzz-words. You would do better to ask for more information from your boss in order to ask a more specific question. Good luck. |

http://gizmonaut.net/soapflakes/EXE-199811.html For the Gartner Group, enterprise software means high volume transaction applications that manage the core business of an enterprise. Enterprise software means a computer application program designed for and used by various enterprises including corporations, governmental units and agencies, educational institutions, and similar organizations. It does not include operating systems, entertainment, personal or productivity software such as games, word processors, spreadsheets and similar programs. Integrated mean that multiple such applications are exchanging data with each other for example, An accounting system is working with inventory and production systems. These different systems are working together because of integration. |
