I'm trying all over the Internet to purchase a copy of the DVD
"Shoeshine" -- a film directed by Vittorio De Sica in 1946, but so far
have been unsuccessful  Can you give me a direct lead (Internet or
elsewhere -- it doesn't matter)?  I'm trying to buy a new copy, but if
necessary a used copy will do.  Thanks in advance.

Almost every site I've seen that mentions this DVD says that it is
"out of stock" or "discontinued."

However, I have found one French site that seems to have it for sale:

Note that "Shoeshine" is the English title; the original title was
"Sciuscià," so this is definitely the right film. This DVD has
subtitles in both English and French.

Please let me know if this works out for you, and I'll be pleased to

aren't successful in ordering your DVD from this site, I'll be glad to
resume the search.
