What are the corrosive effects of chlorine on styrene and acrylic paint? How can I protect artwork painted on styrene (plastic) from the long term corrosive effects of profesional swimming pool chlorine? |

Chlorine is quite reactive, but styrene and acrylic are both relatively stable. You might need to worry more about the pigments in the paint reacting with the chlorine, than about the styrene and acrylic themselves (although they will react over time). |
