Hello, I own an RL800 robomower. It's not wireless, which I don't like. I want to be able to emulate the commands coming out of it's native wired joystick so I can implement them myself via my own software, hopefully via Python or VB.NET. Once the mower is "open", I think there are a lot of possiblities for it. Like: GPS, yard training, http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=17 To start: http://www.friendlyrobotics.com/ -Ted |

Depending on the joystick you could hack into it, remove buttons and connect you computer to it, say using the parallel port. |

I'm looking to do the same thing. Why didnt they make a wireless option for the robomower. Driving that manually is slow and you look like a fool following behing a yellow mower. By the way the new robomower1000 has gps I think as it drives itself to and from the different zones from a docking station on its own. If you find anything I would love to hear it. |
