Hi,

I host and maintain a small community website for free. Members about
59 as of today. Everytime a member wants email address, I have to ask
them for the name, check manually through the list I keep and create
an account with some password.

Is there any way I can offer my members some thing directly on our website,
where they can create a new email account directly? Also, if possible
they can change their password and/or "Forgot my Password" help function?
I do this to help community for free and I don't have big budget. So
please help me with this. Also I want to make sure that this will not
create any security risk?

Thank you very much for your time.

Sam

I want to buy, if there any Script or Program is available(offcourse
not high priced) that of you folks know about. So I can use it to
provide web based email(webmail) interface to my comm. website members
with ability to create an email account and read mail + change
password. Script or program should be easy to install and safe for my site.

Thank you.

I've check my website's cPanel options, and my initial feeling is that
one needs to directly log into your cPanel account to set up mail
forwarding.

Hi jeffyen,

My real concern is creating a new email account by a member directly
from the website page without my help. So they don't have to wait for
me to create it for them.

Yes, the problem is that I don't think cPanal allows for what you're
suggesting. The cPanel requires the person to log in first before
allowing any new changes. Of course, if you're willing to tell your
guests your cPanel password and let them DIY, sure it'll work, but
obviously that's not feasible. I'm not sure whether a programmer can
tweak the cPanel program itself though, it'll take quite a bit of
work. What's the url of your web community?

Hi jeffyen,

Thank you for your comment.

I don't want to use CPanel for that.
