Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre DNA blueprints for 85 dog breeds. 
Is the saluki included in this research and what do they consider the
closest living relative to an ancient Egyptian dog?

The Saluki was on there, in a group with the Afghan

As for part 2; Pharaoh Hound and Ibizan Hound were deffinitly NOT egyptian
