I am looking for computer trade-in shops in Herndon Virginia or the
vicinity. Is there a computer shop out there that can provide me with
good deals? I am interested in trading in my old computers all of
which are Pentium II or Pentium IIIs.

Howdy qehqaha1-ga,

I have been able to locate just one place in your area that advertises that
they take trade-ins.

From the switchboard.com directory listings.

I am posting this as a "Request for Question Clarification" since I am not
sure if they are close enough to you (around 20 miles or so, according to
MapQuest) or if they will indeed take your computers in trade. Pentium II
systems are barely good enough for Goodwill, which might be the best place
for such a system. Even older Pentium III systems might not be tradable
these days. If it turns out they are near enough, etc. please respond to
this and I will post it as Answer.

Thanks! denco-ga - Google Answers Researcher

Thank you denco-ga. I certainly appreciate your response. You're
right most of those systems may not be trade-in material. But it
doesn't hurt to try :). Yes they are within 20 miles range of my area
so they're not out of reach for me. I once encountered another place
in Alexandria and those people offered good deals on trade-ins. But I
can't locate them anymore. Anyways, to answer your question, Yes!
they are near enough and thank you once again for your response.

Best regards,

Qehqaha1-ga

Howdy Qehqaha1-ga,

Thanks for taking this as an Answer. Since you mentioned Alexandria as
a possibility, I have found two locations there as well. One of them
(Computer Renaissance) is a great candidate for the place you mention.

Here are three stores in your area that appear to take trade-ins.
