Hi, I'm part of a "Dynasty Fashion Show." We're showcasing the
costumes/clothings from different Chinese dynasties.  I'm wearing a
costume that represents a character from thing Ching dynasty; her name
was Ching Lu Lu and I believe that she was involved with the royal
family as the costume is very fancy.  It is bright-pink colored, w/
gold embroidery all over.  The neckline is the custom neckline for
women's clothing from the Ching dynasty, with butterfly buttons going
from the neck to the right side of the chest.  I need to find out the
story behind Ching Lu Lu.  Can you help?

ring a bell. Is the spelling correct or do you have any additional

Fons,

Thank you for your response.  I got the spelling of her name from a
roster of various well-known Chinese characters from the various
Chinese dynasties, such as the last emperor, P'u Yi.  We obtained the
roster from the Chinese culture center, where we rented the costumes
for the show.

Unfortunately, without seeing the actual name in Chinese, it's
difficult for me to determine if the translation is accurate.

I have no further information at this time.
