How many German-American married couples are currently living in the
U.S.?  I need this specific answer-- no speculations.  Please cite
reliable source.

Alternatively, you may answer how many European-American married
couples there currently are in the whole world.  German-American or
European-AMerican means a married couple where one person is a German
or European citizen, and the other is an U.S. American citizen.

I can give you the exact number of American and European marriages I
think for USA only, but not the whole world... is that useful?

The other statistics are difficult. A rough extrapolation of data is
possible to derive an estimate but speculations are out of bounds as
you have specified.

I can give you the number of German  American couples that got married
in 1900.... two!  But that doesn't help your cause : )

I would accept the exact number of American and European marriages in
the U.S.  any chance those are broken down even further by country? 
And please let me know if that includes Russia and/or the Eastern
