Where can I purchase a specialized pencil sharpener? I'm looking for
an electric pencil sharpener that gives a point on a pencil that looks
like the pencil just came out of the wrapper. Most electric pencil
sharpeners give a long, wide sharpened point. I want the small, short
point that comes with a pencil. A small, manual, school sized
sharpener like the one you used to keep in your desk in elementary
school gives a similar sharpened point, but it, too, is larger than
what most sharpened pencils come with.

I took a drafting class and we had sharpeners that were really just repointers.
They took a pencil that was dull and made it pointier, a bit like
those little golf pencils. I think that is the kind of thing you are
looking for. Try dick blick (that's not a joke.)
