I need urls to sites that offer comic strip characters in multiple
action poses (individual jpgs.) As many different poses as possible by
the same character.   For example tugging on a rope (like 'tug of
war';)lifting boxes; pushing against a heavy object (sans object if
possible so different objects can be inserted)   I am preparing a
power point presentation that will be an ongoing story like a sunday
comic strip. The characters should be drawings of medieval characters
(e.g. the Wizard of Id) and modern business men/women and students.

Well I'm aweb designer and for my experience working with graphics
most of any website will charge you for downloading such items and
there are people out there that you can ask for a specific design.
