I have a Compaq IPAQ 3650 with an OS of 3.0. I want to use the
Microsoft Money program that is included with it to track my
investments. Yet to update the prices, it must connect to the
Internet. I don't have a wireless expansion card for it, and I was
wondering if anyone knows if it can update the prices through a simple
USB connection on a computer with Internet access? Is there a program
I need to download in order to do this? |

Hello mooflaman67,
Which version of Microsoft Money you've on Pocket PC 2003? I guess it
should be Microsoft Money 2004. Please confirm.
Let me know.
thanks

Netcrazy,
Since I posted this question, I was informed by Compaq I must purchase
a Pocket PC 2002 update disc, which I have. Thus, I can't tell you
right now if the update will update Microsoft Money. However, on the
About Microsoft Money screen on my iPAQ, it says Version 1.0 Hope
that helps.

Another update,
My Pocket PC is fairly old, and does not even have Pocket PC 2002 OS
on it. I am in the process of purchasing the upgrade CD.

Hello mooflaman67,
Thanks for providing more information. After knowing that you are
going to have Pocket PC 2002 version, I searched more and got the
information that you are looking for. You'll need Microsoft Money
2003/2004 and the Money Desktop version.

Netcrazy,
Thanks for your continued interest. The source through which I was
going to purchase the 2002 OS said they are out of stock, so if you
could, in your answer, point me to another site where I might purchase
the 2002 OS for Pocket PC, that'd be a tremendous help.
Just to confirm, your answer will allow me to update my mutual fund
prices on my Pocket PC without having a wireless card for the Pocket
PC, correct? Just making sure, because that was my original intent,
and I didn't want the question to get confused. If the answer will
allow this to happen, then yes, please post your answer.
Thank you,
mooflaman
