Here's one:

A PRIVATE ISLAND

The holidaymakers: Lyn Proctor, 47, a medical administrator, and her
boyfriend, Gary Hock, 57, a property developer. They live in Durham,
North Carolina; she drives a Lexus convertible, he a Lexus and three
SUVs. They often travel to Europe, but take most of their holidays at
Musha Cay, an exclusive-occupancy private island in the Bahamas.

Why they went: for the luxury and the privacy ? they go almost every year.

What they did: ?To be honest,? says Lyn, ?we don?t do a lot of
?doing?, we do a lot of ?liming? ? Caribbean for just hanging out.
Don?t get me wrong, there?s diving, wind-surfing, sailing ? I mean, if
you have a favourite bit of gym equipment and it isn?t on the island,
they?ll fly it out to you from Miami.

?But we go to switch off ? and with 30 staff for just the nine of us,
and more hot tubs than there are people in our group, boy, do we
switch off. Gary and my dad do a bit of bonefishing, and the kids go
sailing and wetbiking now and again, but mostly we just swim, tan and
watch the sunset.

?There are five thatched houses on the island, so we spread ourselves
around. We usually meet for lunch, whether it?s a special Thanksgiving
dinner they do for us at the Main House, or a barbecue on the beach.
We stay at a lot of five-star hotels, but Musha Cay is in a different
league.?

The highlight: ?This sounds crazy, but it?s the food ? with every meal
they use different china or serve a different kind of cuisine.?

The verdict: ?Every time the seaplane lands at Musha Cay, I can?t
believe how lucky we are to be back.?
