I recently heard a song entitled either "around my world" or "around
my way" but I was unable to determine the song's artist.  I remember
that the beat from the song was ripped from an old Sting and the
Police song.  If anyone can help me with this I would greatly
appreciate it.

the song is talib kweli "around my way", but it's not sampled from
police's "king of pain." i don't know exactly who it was sampled from,
but i heard it at work the other day. if anyone knows who it was
really sampled from, then post it up here.

The riff is definately taken from "Every Little Thing She Does is
Magic" (Sting & The Police). I don't know if the hook is original or
bitten off another artist.

yeah, you're right. it is "every little thing" i'm pretty sure the
hook is original by john legend, though.
