I need three or or more stories of people who bought a franchise and
became very succesful. For example:

"Joe Blow was a poor guy living in Brooklyn. He saved his pennies and
when he had $10,000 he bought an Acme Products franchise. He worked
hard and soon he had bought 5 more stores. Now he makes $x a year and
probably has a net worth of $y."

The main requirement is to have specific dollar amounts of how much
the person now earns or is worth. Ideally all three should be from
different companies and better yet different fields (e.g. not all food
chains for example).

The more recent these are, the better.

Hi!

I am having a diffycult time finding cases for the US but found some
in the UK. Will these UK articles be accepted as a legitimate answer?

Thanks!

I'm afraid they really should be U.S. companies...at least that would
be best for now.

I may relax this requirement if I get no responses, but for now I have
to ask for U.S. companies only.

Hi again!

Only a few days are left (9 days the last time I checked) on the
expiration date for this question. Will you be willing to accept the
UK articles at this point?

Thanks!

Being both a prior franchise owner, and a prior franchise corporation
officer I would like to state the following:

As a corporation, the U.S. Government prohibits franchisors selling
franchises to make claims of profits. Because each franchise is
different, results WILL vary. Being a successful prior franchise
owner, I suggest you contact other franchise owners and talk to them.
If you are interested in a franchise, most franchisors will allow you
to contact other [successful] franchise owners. Don't forget to ask
the franchisees how they get/got through the tough times...

Thanks cmiller-ga for your comment that franchisors cannot make claims
of profit. That's useful information.

But that of course does not mean that there still aren't detailed
stories out there that have come from franchisee's themselves.

So researchers, don't give up!

Hi chazb-ga!

I can't answer this anymore because the question has expired. Maybe
you can post it again and say that it is "For Easterangel-ga".

Thanks!
