Dear Chuck,

There are several good sites that could tell what is going on in the
Presidential race, in regards to Missouri.

CNN - Missouri race recap
<http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/primaries/pages/misc/missouri.recap.html>
Thsi page features not only the article about the primaries in
Missouri, but also links to further information, for example to full
vote results in the state.

Naturally, also the coverage of the Missourian on the issue of the
Presidential Race, concentrates on Missouri:
Presidential Race 2004

Further article on the subject of the primaries in Missouri:

Dan Balz and Richard Morin, Missouri Voters Favor None Of the Above,
_Washington Post_ May 2, 2004; Page A01
<http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A59729-2004May1.html>

Here you could see the Missouri Daily from the primaries:
World News - Missouri Daily, 28 January 2004:

Specifically, in Missouri, commentators speculate that the
Presidential race could affect the goberntorial race.

Political news from Missouri, about these two related issues as well
as others, could be found at :

Missouri Political Sections - US Politics Today

The conservative site Town Hall also has practical information (how to
register to vote, etc.):

An interesting "historical" article, on last elections could be found
at the conservative National Review,

Just a note about the second link above--the Southeast Missourian
newspaper is VERY conservative in it's political coverage. You might
want to keep that in mind as you review their articles and the wire
stories they chose to report.
