I am looking for the apple ipod 2.1 Updater. It used to be available
on the apple website but they now only offer the newer version. I know
it also comes with new 3rd generation ipods - but I don't have that cd
& need it so my ipod will work w windows 98. I found a few sites that
say to download but when I go it just redirects to the newer version
on Apple's website.

I am looking for a download link (valid link) so I can download that updater.

Actually,

I tried that already (messed with it for several hours last night) but
still can't get it to work so I'm looking to try something else.
