Please give me a list of start up companies in Chiacgo and suburbs in
the areas of telecommunication and IT. Looking for jobs with a
background with 10 years experience in telecommunications.

good luck! I'm in the IT field and doing some small contracts on the
west coast, technicly out of work. I don't see many telecommunications
positions coming open, have you looked into going back to school or
changing fields? You may try taking a lower level position in your
field. I was just talking to a guy that had about 15 years in the
telly field and he was looking for a position in contracting, he had
his graduate degree and everything.

If you check Career Builder, Monster and Dice they generally have new
positions every day, it's just a mad dash to get a recruiter or
prospective employer to look at your resume. Although if you keep
going at it, eventually you will find a position.
