Okay, this is another music question. I'm looking for a song I've
heard played in a couple of clubs around here, it seems to be popular
but yet I can't seem to find anyone who actually knows who the artist
is. The song is in the techno/dance genre, it has a slower beat and
has a long intro that starts off almost sounding like a clock ticking
along with some simply eletronic piano playing in the background. The
vocalist who does this song is a female vocalist, it's tought to tell
*exactly* what she's saying but it sounds like something along these
lines: "You and me, we're finding out...that nothing will (something)
when we hold on, baby" There's another part where she sings "Someday
you will be mine, a love like yours is so hard to find" and yet
another part where she sings "you're wasting your tiiiiiiiime" where
the word time is stretched across a couple of notes. I wish I had more
clues! But hey as they say, you don't know until you ask. Album info
would be appreciated to, I wouldn't be suprised if this shows up on a
compilation CD of artists such as Cream Anthemns or something along
those lines.

i'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but check out the
link below to read the lyrics from a song by janet jackson:

That one, unfortunately, is too disco-ey, and Janet Jackson is not the
vocalist in the one I'm thinking of. Good try though! When I saw the
lyrics I thought you'd gotten it...

Maybe it's "Out of Your Mind" by Victoria Beckham (featuring Dane
Bower & Truesteppers). The voice on the track is fed through a vocoder
and has a robotic sound:

Here is a verse:

You're out of your mind
Gonna make this really easy
I'm out of my mind
Gonna show you I'm not crazy
Boy you're wasting my time
I'm not wasting your time
You're out of your mind
You're out of your mind
Out of your mind ...

Hope it's the one.

Or perhaps S Club's "Whole Lotta Nothin"?

Here's the chorus:

Either you got it
And you're coming back to mine
Just forget it
Don't go wasting my time

Another possibility?

It's not either of those, unfortunately, though good try. I think I
need to find an actual clip of the song, it's just going to be too
hard to guess based on the limited information I can provide you
*grin* but I KNOW someone would recognize it if they heard it.
