in today's Guardian Cryptic.

I managed the rest but got stuck on the 7-letter solution for the
above, so I cheated (which you can do with the on-line version).

I was so tickled with the Solution that I decided to share the problem
with everyone in the GaGaGalaxy:

Coming in at 200-1 comes palitoy-ga, the answer is: MACDUFF.
