Hello margaretobo-ga,

Thanks for asking this question in GA.

If you are starting at 8:20 PM on June 8th, and assuming that the
flight time is 6 hours, you are going to reach Dublin at 7:20 AM on
June 9th.

Dublin (currently in Irish Summer Time zone) is 5 hours ahead of New
Jersey which is currently in Eastern Daylight Time zone. So, when you
are starting from Newark at 8:20 PM on June 8th, it is already 1:20 AM
of June 9th in Dublin.

For Newark, New Jersey-

For Dublin, Ireland-

Here is a great handy time zone converter-

I?ve customized it to 8:20 PM New Jersey time so that you can see the
relative timing in other cities -
