Hello margaretobo-ga, Thanks for asking this question in GA. If you are starting at 8:20 PM on June 8th, and assuming that the flight time is 6 hours, you are going to reach Dublin at 7:20 AM on June 9th. Dublin (currently in Irish Summer Time zone) is 5 hours ahead of New Jersey which is currently in Eastern Daylight Time zone. So, when you are starting from Newark at 8:20 PM on June 8th, it is already 1:20 AM of June 9th in Dublin. For Newark, New Jersey- http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=861 For Dublin, Ireland- http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=78 Here is a great handy time zone converter- http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ I?ve customized it to 8:20 PM New Jersey time so that you can see the relative timing in other cities - http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?day=8&month=6&year=2004&hour=20&min=20&sec=0&p1=861 Search terms used ? time zone check ://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=time+zone+check&spell=1 Let me know if this helped. In case of any questions, feel free to request for clarification. Thanks netcrazy |
