When I was in Kolkata recently I had tasted a chicken dish which was called "Lasooni Chicken Kebab ".It was delicious.I later found out that one of the ingredients used in it is KALA NAMAK (Kala nimak or Black Salt )I had forgotten to make a copy of the recipe.Since then I've looked in the internet and gone through all my cookbooks. But,even though many of them mention this particular ingredient in the glossary section, none of them include a recipe that uses this salt. Would anybody anybody have a recipe for a grilled chicken dish using Kala Namak?Remember.....KALA NAMAK is the keyword. And I wanted to thank Hummer-ga for trying to help me with an Icecream Sandesh recipe.I appreciate that. But,unfortunately that's not the right answer. It is not a combination of Icecream and sandesh. The ingredients are all mixed tigethether to make this dish.i still need to know about it.But,that will have to be a seperate posting. P.S.My computer is acting funny.I can't see the first half of my question where I've given details about the "Lasooni chicken Kebab "I may have to post it again |

Dear Pinkfreud-ga, Thank you pinkfreud-ga for the recipe. It looks quite promising.Except I'm not too sure the dish ,I had, used any cream in it just at the end.Or,maybe they did use it after all. I'll let you know how it turned out. Many thanks again! Warm regards, dunu-ga |
