I would be grateful for an answer to this question please in the context of a business to be run out of Germany, via a company yet to be incorporated : From a tax perspective, would it be preferable to incorporate an English company with German branch office or to incorporate a German company (e.g., GmbH)? For various reasons, from the (English) incorporator's perspective an English company would be preferable but not if tax issues make this disadvantageous. If a Double Taxation Agreement/Treaty between England and Germany is relevant to this question, would you please explain how and why when answering. Thank you. |
