A friend of mine has a poem snippet, and doesn't know who wrote it, or how the poem ends. For his birthday, I'd like to get the information for him. A quick Google search didn't turn up anything, so I figured I'd try out Google Answers. Here's the snippet. Well Done A young man stands where once a small boy stood. He stands erect, his shoulders straight, his face set firm to meet and conquer fate. Could he with holy vision like a prophet see what stormy course his untried feet must run? Could thus he stand if fully conscious he that all his plans should subject to a higher power be? Days come and go, and so the years roll by. Gone is the spark, the fire to conquer all; |
