I wish to find sources of commodity price indices (end of day pricing)
that is not copyright and available free. This is for commodity
markets globally covering metals, grain, meat, oil, gas, electricity
etc. Ideally this would be available in electronic - XML - form. Many thanks.

P.S. This question was already asked at a lower price.

Hi

I was looking for sources of lists of commodities along with their
daily end of day price. I was not looking for aggregated indices which
bundle together a set of indices and produce an average. There are
over 100 commodities worldwide that one needs prices for - probably
more (wheat, electricity, pulp paper, canola, hogs etc etc etc)! The 5
suggested are simply not sources of commodity prices. The others
listed below do not appear to be sources of commodity prices, but
instead talk ABOUT commodities.

I am sorry but the question has not been answered.

Regards

Jack

Jack,

I apologize if I misinterpreted your question. I thought you were
seeking the sources for the indices themselves, ie. links to the major
commodities indices.

I see now that you are more interested in individual commodity prices.
There are no sites that comprehensively list all or a majority of the
individual commodities and their end of day prices for free.

However, The TFC site (below) lists the most and seems like it would
be very useful to you and there are also other sites that provide
prices for many of the major traded commodities. Hopefully, these
sites and the index sites will provide you with a broad snapshot of
the prices. In addition, you can check the actual commodities
exchanges for price quotes. This will fill in some of the gaps for
you.

These sites below provide quotes for commodities futures and options.
They don't cover as many as it seems you would prefer- but as far as
free data is concerned, this is the best you are going to find, in my
opinion. Please clarify your question further if I have still failed
to provide a helpful answer and I will be happy to add to my answer.
Thanks.
