Paul Lewis is married to cellist Bjorg Vaernes and they are expecting
their first child in September.

Here is an excerpt form a recent Sun Sentinel article dated May 9,
2004 by classical music writer Lawrence A. Johnson where you may
verify this information.

 ?Growing up in the birthplace of the Beatles in Liverpool, Paul Lewis
did not spend his youth rebelling with loud rock music against his
parents' exhortations to apply himself at the piano. Rather, he had to
deal with trying to find peaceful moments to practice Chopin and
Beethoven in a household filled with music of ... John Denver.?
