KV34XBR960--is this the replacement for the SONY KV34XBR910 and if so,
when is it to be available to the public.

1.) I assume you mean  "KD 34XBR960" and not "KV 34XBR960" ?

2.) I can only give you the month and not a soecific date.

Yes, it is the KD34XBR960. Last years model was the KV34XBR910
however. By the way, why did SONY change the KV designation to KD..is
it because they now build in a HDTV tuner/decoder in the set?

year, and will cost about $2,200.

As for the change of KV designation to KD, the KD-34XBR960 now has
