Question ID: 352626
Is there any printing technology (laser / thermal / magnetic etc..)
and special substance that can use to make CD labels which can be
reprinted over
and over ?
I know that there is E-ink that might do the job but probably be very expansive.
is there is any commercial printer& substance that can perform reprint tasks ?
if there is such thing that not designed for CD labels but apply to
the term "reprintable" I want to know it too.

E-ink has high refresh rate.
labels , on the other hand need to be reprinted once in a while.
a thechnology that needs even couple of minutes(up to hour) between
reprints is fine for me.
I assume there is no commercial product available yet , at least as
far as I looked.
I will be satisfied with "potential technologies" that do not exist
yet, but only if there is defenetly no existing technology yet.

negative answers like : "there is no thechnology" or "there is no way
to do that" are not accepted !
only positive answers.
