Hello,

I'm looking for online commercial sites which offer personal finance
advice, debt management and retirement/goal forecasting services.

They should be able to interact with the person, understand their
responsibilities and current situation and prepare a schedule for a
reasonable path to reduce liabilities and increase savings.

Having customer maintenance plans to allow for adjustments throughout
the lifetime of the advice relationship.

Simply put, the above is a service version of Quicken from Intuit. :-)

Hello Lot,

Being an online service, the customer based is global and services
would be applicable. When it comes to advice of investment and tax,
that is regional, I agree.

The two applicable areas for this request are Arizona in the US and
the Middel East, gulf countries.

I'm looking for a service that helps out a medium to medium-low income
kind of a family. Nothing fancy. :-)

Hi lizardnation-ga,
Finding an online commercial financial advisor that will interact with
the client is not as simple as it would seem. Most of the real
individual financial advisors listings are foreign based and would not
suit your needs. I have listed two foreign financial advisor sites
that may meet your needs, however. Others are fronts for selling
Equities, Health Insurance or Mutual Funds.

The GHP Financial Group offers Personal Financial Planning, has
Personal Finance Specialists, and offers Practical Financial Advice.
"GHP Personal Financial Advisors can help you with:

Income tax planning
Estate planning
Insurance and risk management
Retirement planning
College funding plans
Cash flow analysis
Business succession planning
Elder care planning
Investment planning and implementation through GHP Investment Advisors

American Express offers a complimentary initial consultation with a
personal financial advisor for people in the US only. Their financial
advisors give advice and planning on Banking and Loans, Investing,
Insurance and Retirement. Here is what you get:
“Your goals. Our financial advisors concentrate first on understanding
your needs and goals, rather than only promoting specific products or
investments.
Options and advice. Trained in a wide variety of retirement and
investment strategies, our financial advisors can lay out the facts
and provide you options and advice. They are a good resource for
discussing things like reducing taxes, college planning or preparing
for a more secure retirement.
Experience. With over 100 years of experience, we are part of the
American Express Financial Corporation family of companies, which owns
or manages more than $228 billion in assets and serves more than 2
million clients.
No obligation. This is a complimentary consultation. There is no cost
or obligation, just sound financial advice.”
You have to fill out a "form to have an American Express financial
advisor contact you to arrange a private complimentary consultation at
your convenience."

Here is a Calgary, Alberta Canada financial advisor service:
"If you are seeking objective, confidential financial advice over the
internet," here is an online financial advice service which offers
Financial Planning, Investments and Other Services. You must fill out
their “INITIAL INFORMATION FORM. This will help us identify your
financial planning needs, and will be used as a basis for our proposal
and quotation for you.

2. We will then forward to you a client proposal and contract by
e-mail and request a deposit based on the work you require. Payments
can be accepted by credit card (VISA) or sent by cheque (Canadian
residents only).”

Here is personal financial advice service in the United Kingdom where
you can "Request independent financial advice on mortgages, pensions,
stakeholder, investments, life assurance or even a full independent
financial review." They offer advice on pensions, mortgages, tax
review, investments and protection, and secured loans.

Kiplinger is not an interactive finance advisor but is certainly worth
looking into. Kiplinger offers a personal finance guide that you will
receive monthly. “Kiplinger's Personal Finance is a consumer magazine
that provides information on how to maximize personal assets and plan
for changes in the coming economy." You can purchase this guide for
only $14.97 (a $27.03 discount off the cover price of $42.00) through:
Magazine City.net

I have subscribed to Kiplinger’s Personal Finance in the past and it
gives very timely and informative financial advice. They are ahead of
the curve when it comes to looking into the future.

Hi lizardnation-ga,
I ran across a source you might be interested in for finding financial
planners in Arizona. A couple of these have websites and most can be
contacted by email:
Yellow Pages
http://ypng.infospace.com/info.dogpl/ypv3/list.htm?qb=6282AG164E0&xmlurl=http%3A%2F%2Fyp106.superpages.com%2Fxml%2FspPage.phtml%3FCID%3D6282AG164E0%26C%3Dfinancial%2Bplanners%26PG%3DL%26R%3DN%26SRC%3DInfospace%26S%3Daz%26MC%3D1%26PI%3D1&kcfg=ypus&ypinsp=0&resolve=location&searchtype=all&fromform=qsearch&qb=6282AG164E0&qh=Financial+Planning&wqhqn=1&qhqn=financial+planners&qs=az&qk=15&recid=Financia
%20Planning

These listings are city and state specific. I used Phoenix, Arizona as
the city and state for the above page. If you click on "Categories" in
the "YOU ARE HERE > Yellow Pages > Categories > Listings", you can
change the city or state.

Good luck with your financial planning,

Hello Webbob,

Thank you. The rating was deserved as a complete answer to my
original question. Have yuu noticed anything in the Clarification I
replied with to Lot-ga on the 1st of July which would be a binus? ;-)

Hi Lizardnation,
I did try some searches that were targeted at Arizona and the Middle
East. The results were all fronts for selling Equities, Insurance or
Mutual Funds. So, I abandoned that approached. I think the lack of US
online advisor sites can be attributed to the current accounting
scandals that are popping up all over the place. Should I run across
any sites that are Arizona or Middle East specific, I will append them
for you.

Hello Webbob,

If they're fronts to vending their products, naah. But if you run
into something where they do sell products as a side thingy, which is
where some sites and advisors make their cut, that would be of value.

I'll rate this at five now and wait for your comment. :-)
