Who knows? Richard Nixon was an evangelical Quaker and yet we're just now learning, some 31 years later, that he was too drunk to handle an important telephone call from the British Prime Minister one night in 1973 while our country was on the brink of potential confrontation with the Soviet Union. CBS NEWS "Report: Nixon Drunk In '73 Crisis" http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/05/26/politics/main619719.shtml Having said that, we may never know if Bush was juggin' during all this or not. tutuzdad-ga |

DJ, There is no way for a Researcher to answer this question, unless they are George W. Bush himself or one of his close staff, and even then - some people tend to be on self-denial when drinking again; the staff might not notice. This article sheds maybe some light on the subject: DOUG THOMPSON "Bush's Erratic Behavior Worries White House Aides" <http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/article_4636.shtml> However, it should be mentioned that such reports are available only from this source, which doesn't seem to be too reputable. |
