Hi There ! I am interested in starting a company that does political fundraising. Key questions: Can I raise money on a commission basis? Or, is commissioned fundraising forbidden, as it is for many non-profit organizations? A 5-star answer would be links to two introductory articles on political fundraising as a business. Please note: my interest is in making $$$$$, not in promoting a political agenda. All comments greatly appreciated. Thanks a million ! ron |

Hi Ron, This article is somewhat dated and doesn't directly address the political fundraising industry but it gives a very interesting overview of the role of political consultants and the flow of money in political campaigns.
