Are there any companies that provide fax to data conversion possibly using OCR?

Are there any products that convert fax to data possibly using OCR?

We want to be able to fax in order forms and have that data entered
into a spreadsheet (preferably automatically - not by human data
entry).

There's a program called SimpleOCR you can find here to get a feel for
the technology. My experience is the inexpensive solutions take some
time to fine tune and then are only about 80% - 90% accurate. Easier
to data enter them, rather than try to find errors later. Depends of
course on how clean the faxes are.

Automatic ocr/archive systems will run to the tens of thousands. If
you're willing to go that way I suggest you find a good consultant
with experience in that area, ask for three references and call them.
Where are you geographically?

Good luck.
