There are a huge number of different solutions as to how to place a voting system onto your website. A lot depends on your choice of programming language and how involved you wish to be. In general, it is a very simple and rewarding thing to set up. For free remotely hosted polls or voting systems check out these sites (they do most of it for you): http://www.go2poll.com/ http://www.dream-tools.com/index.mv http://www.hotscripts.com/Remotely_Hosted/Polls_and_Voting/ http://www.free-web-polls.com/ http://www.pollhost.com/ http://www.freepolls.com/ For free polls or voting systems that use your web server these links will be helpful (you will be more involved with setting these up): http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Survey_and_Voting/ http://www.stadtaus.com/en/php_scripts/voting_script/ http://www.asp101.com/samples/polls.asp http://www.hotscripts.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?bool=AND&query=poll&catid=all Programming your own voting system is very simple and in my opinion is a good way of starting to make your website a little more dynamic. Good luck with finding a system that meets your needs. If you need any further information on this subject please ask for clarification, I am here to help you! | |
