Hello,

I just want to know if they have closed down two of my favorite sites
that I use almost daily, www.musicrobot.com and
www.lyricsworld.com...Can you find out for me (especially
MusicRobot.com) because I use these sites for my business. Thanks.

MusicRobot.com is owned by
        Musicrobot Enterprises
        P.O. Box 4154
        Gaithersburg MD, 20885

Their contact e-mail is admin@musicrobot.com
And their contact phone number is
 3015551212

The URL was initially registered on 1999-02-10
Renewed on 2003-11-20
And is paid up through 2009-02-10 so this site appears to be alive and well.

This information is according to Buydomains.com?s DNS information.
http://www.buydomains.com/jsp/whois.jsp?domain=musicrobot.com

The musicrobot.com site appears to be up and working with no problems
at this time although the lyricsworld.com site appears to be
discontinued.

If you have difficulties in the future you may be experiencing a
problem with the DNS lookup table and may wish to try entering the
following instead of the musicrobot.com URL: http://216.12.208.221

To locate information and even the actual web pages for discontinued
or even current sites which may not be responding properly you can
always try www.archive.org which indexes a vast number of web sites.
Sometimes this provides a lot of useful information, sometimes it is a
waste of time but there is no way to tell without checking.

In this case you may want to check out www.lyricsworld.com for some
useful archived page:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/www.lyricsworld.com.

I hope this answers your question.

I could find no explanation of MusicRobot's absence. I certainly hope
it isn't gone for good, because a lot of people loved that site.

On Tuesday, May 25, this was posted on LyricsWorld's main page:

"Due to a situation, my current hosting company is dying this week.
This was last minute news for those of us hosting there. Good news is
that I will be staying hosted by one of their original founders in a
new rack just a few rows down in the same building. Unfortunately,
this means lyricsworld will go down rather abruptly sometime in the
next 48 hours and it's IP will change. This may cause some recent
visitors to not be able to connect for 12-24 hours and possibly longer
if your ISP doesn't follow standards."

Thank you so much for such a quick response...Man, I don't know what
I'm going to do if MusicRobot closes for good. Thanks again for your
help!
