"Footsteps of the Tar Heel Apostolate" was a 16mm film about vocations
in North Carolina during the early 1950's.  Do you know if the film
has been transferred to VHS, DVD, or if it is available anywhere?  Is
there a written transcription of the film?

Hello.

Yes, the film has been transferred on to VHS tape.  The Diocese of
Charlotte has a copy of it.  It's listed in their catalog:
