Dear clmslp414-ga;

Thank you for allowing me an opportunity to answer your interesting
question. The subject of separation of Church and State with regard to
our public schools is a continuous and often heated debate. There is
an abundance of related articles out there, some newer than others,
but I took the liberty of actually finding some of them for you before
I explain where many of them originate. The articles cover a variety
of topics including (but not limited to) case law, use of public funds
for theological purposes, the teaching of creationism as opposed of
evolution, the ?forced? practice of religious observance, religious
practices offending non-religious students or those who have
conflicting beliefs, to protect a given minority, and many others.
