Hi musicmanipod!!

I found two good tools to perform this task, the more advisable one is
a shareware and the other is freeware. In both cases you will must to
have installed Real Player 8.0 or later. You can download it from:
http://www.real.com/

"RM to MP3 Converter 1.01": (shareware $ 24.95)
"Convert RM to MP3, RM MP3 Converter, Convert RA to MP3, Real Audio to
MP3 Converter.
RM to MP3 Converter lets you easily to convert Real Audio files (.rm,
.ra, .ram) to MP3 and WAV files, and Extract Audio from Real Video
files."
This is also the simplest way to convert your files.

To download this softwre:
http://www.rmconverter.com/download.html

Note that the trial version is limited to 30-second conversion per file.

------------------------------------------------------------

"dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC)": (freeware)
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm

"Codec Central":
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm

How to use this soft?:
If you need to convert these RA or RM files to mp3 you can use
dBpowerAMP Music Converter. After downloading this,please install it;
you will need to download a codec from the dbpoweramp website that
converts RA or RM files to Mp3 from Codec Central page.
Remember that you need to have installed RealAudio v8
This program converts in real time, so if the song is 2 minutes long,
it will take two minutes for the conversion. You can normalize the
tracks, and select a whole bunch to be done at one time.

Note: if you have an RMJ file, just rename it as RA or RM file from
the Windows Explorer interface.

For a "how to use" guide see the Help file copied to your PC during
the installation.
