Could this be what you are looking for?
"The driver for VIA USB controllers are built into Microsoft operating
systems which support USB. It is known as VIA Tech 3038 PCI to USB
controller. This is inbuilt and cannot be updated. The advice you
received to update the driver or controller, probably means that they
recommend that you update the VIA Hyperion 4in1 drivers. Or the advice
might mean that they recommend you to install the USB filter patch..."

from the printer.we have a hewlett packard psc 2110 all in one
printer.we have been told to use a usb filter patch from wiretech
3038 but we can,t find them.it,s a free download.thanks

we had no luck with the usb wiretech 3038 patch. we bought a new
printer that is now compatable with the programe on our computer, a
canon imageclass mpc190 thanks.
