?When in the California Highway Patrol Academy, are you allowed to leave or see your family on weekends or anytime during the 26 week long period you are there?? During the 26 weeks at the California Highway Patrol Academy you may leave Wednesday nights and weekends. If you fail to pass any LD examination, you will be required to serve a weekend restriction. From The California Highway Patrol Academy: Liberty ?You will receive liberty on Wednesday nights and weekends, contingent on your passing the tests each week and absent any disciplinary actions.? Wednesday - 1700 to 2359 hours Weekends - 1700 hours Friday to 2359 hours Sunday ?Cadets are required to be in appropriate civilian attire when leaving and returning from liberty.? Phone calls: ?Cadets may receive emergency telephone calls once an emergency is verified. You should tell your family and friends that you cannot receive any other phone calls during your 26 weeks of training.? California Highway Patrol Academy http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/academycadet.html Search criteria: I searched the California Highway Patrol Academy website until I located the relevant information. I hope this helps! Best regards, Bobbie7 |
