President Bush has wanted to keep U.S. flexibility by avoiding any
control or influence of the UN over the U.S. effort to overthrow
Saddam Hussein and to create a democratic Government.  I'm searching
for a Bush quote which clearly indicates he was opposed to the U.N.
playing an important part in the formation of a new Iraqi government. The quote
should come from a respected news organization or respected reporter.
