I am very interested in the history of the family MAGEROVSKY, dating back to the15th century in the Polish town of Magerov (Magierow), present Ukraine. I am interested in everything from 1444 on, when our family first acquired its coat of arms known as SZELIGA. Later, around the 1790's, they moved to Kamenec-Podol'sk, Russia, where they acquired the Russian dvorianstvo, and thence, around the 1860's to Odessa. You can respond in English, Russian, German or Czech. All information will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, ELM |
