I could give you the name of the song, the band that recorded it, and
the complete lyrics. Is that what you are looking for?

Regards,

Dear Tinley,

The lyrics are for "For What's It's Worth", written by Stephen Stills
in 1966. The first performer of this song (later covered by others)
was Still's band, "Buffalo Springfield", also featuring Neil Young,
Richie Furray, Bruce Palmer, Dewey Martin, and Jimmy Messina

You could find lyrics here:
Buffalo Springfield / For What It's Worth
<http://www.clarkson.edu/~winklebh/vietnam2/buffalo.html>.

The song was a protest song against the war in Vietnam. Another
creation of Stills and Young, later, with David Crosby and Graham Nash
(in "Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young), is the song "Ohio", describing
the death of protesting students in Kent State University (Ohio) by
National Guardsmen's bullets.

A very good analysis of the song is available here:
