Unlikely.

Your best bet may be to get a lawyer who will work for 'a Contingency Fee'.

This means that he only gets paid if you win.

However, Contingency work is not permitted everywhere.

Contingency basis cases are permitted in California. That means that
the lawyer would get a percentage of the torts. This is (naturally)
for civil cases (torts, sometimes also in other types of civil cases).
If your problem is one that would be discussed in a criminal court,
there are several pro-bono ("for free") legal clinics in LA.
