Question ID: 353892
Pretending we were back in 1960, how was one presidential candidate
better than the other? Nixon & Kennedy. Please give 2 points of
view(1 for Kennedy being a better candidate(more young, cofident, his
political views?) and 1 for Nixon being a better candidate(more
experienced, educated, his political views, etc.)Please do not focus on
the effects of the debate so much. I am more interested in the
qualifications & personality traits for being a better presidential
candidate.

In addition to their qualifications and personality traits, what were
their political standings and what sorts of people did that capture
votes from? I understand both presidential candidates spoke of
progress and change and had similar campaign themes. So why was there
so many clashing opinions of these candidates?

Ahm... haven't we forgotten something? Politics is not only about
personality or qualifications of an individual, but also about issues:
maybe some wouldn't have voted for Kennedy because of his positions
regarding economics, foerign policy, religion, etc.
