I have been searching for many years for a song from the early 1980's.
It's a slow easy listening song and much in the style of a band called
Ambrosia although I can not find it in their song lists. Some lyrics as I
remember go as such: "A child can dream, a man is always waiting,
waiting for the ..."
"The world is bittersweet, at times cool, caressing ..."
"But who, who can forget those memories ..."
"Livin in L.A., here by the bay, tomorrow is waiting, memories
fading, take me away, don't want to stay ..."

I would like to know the name of this song too. Did you find it on
any other search?

Have you heard or do you remember the song? I still have not found any
info on it but I would like to know if you remember any more lyrics,
where you know it from or any other info you could offer.

Hello and thanks to Amy for replying. The song you found was the one I
have searched for. The actual song recording is not available from any
download sites (legal or otherwise) and neither are the lyrics.
However I did find several new copies of the album (12 inch) and new
45's at a large used record store in Calgary.(The album name is
Tightrope).
