Hello dandan19-ga.
.
I have contacted a number of places within the UK and have listed them
below. They would need to see your specifications for the unusual
shape and purpose for them to cost, the construction and cost issue
would also determine the resin type and or, method of process too.

Hi Spec Plastics
http://www.hispecplastics.co.uk/
They do a wide range of mouldings, architectural, marine, engineering,
public utilities.
I phoned them, but they don’t unfortunately do one-offs and are geared
to production quantities which may be handy later.

Birmingham Glass Fibre mouldings
http://www.birminghamglassfibre.co.uk/index.htm
on their website they say “Whether you want 1 or 1000 we can take your
order from conception to completion” so seems quite appropriate
They have worked on various range of mouldings and have done some
simple seating

I rang them up to enquire, the person I spoke to said your
requirements are not a problem but you need to really talk to the
boss, Steve Pierce, who can give you a more accurate picture once your
forward them your specification, but unfortunately he is away on
holiday for about 2 weeks.

Design and Display

I talked to Tony Roberts there

email: sales@design-and-display.co.uk
Tony says it isn’t a problem for them making a one off (GRP) prototype
and wasn’t concerned about complexity (even without sight of a
design), as some of their previous work is very complex, but they had
concerns about cost and he talked about making a timber prototype
first, but perhaps you can elaborate on your exact requirements, but
I’ve established they can do it but at a cost.
