I'm using a Mac Powerbook G4 with osx panther. New to macs and figuring out the tricks still.... I have a pop 3 email account and ethernet access with earthlink. How can I program my mac to automatically send and receive or at least check for new incoming email messages while I am connected. I'm not used to having to click send and receive and it's driving me crazy!! |

Hi genki2, If Entourage can't do it, ePrompter may be a suitable alternative. ePrompter: "...automatically and simultaneously checks and retrieves your email messages..." http://eprompter.com/index.htm Regards, hummer |

Entourage can do it. Choose 'Schedules' from the tools menu - by default, there is a 'send and receive all' schedule set up when you first started entourage. Open that schedule and set the 'when' to a 'Repeating Schedule' at whatever frequency you are comfortable with. BarryW |
