I want to find out if a friend of mine was killed in Viet Nam. I know
his name and hometown. His name is Robert Walker, I don't know his
middle initial or branch of service. His hometown was Ventura, CA.

I did not find anyone with that name and hometown in the database for
the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial:

The database contains references to Robert Walkers from Alabama,
Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Texas, but none from California.

Thanks for your response. A number of people have told me he died in
the war, but I have no concrete evidence. I hope to find out it isn't
true.
