We are trying to create some sort of archive of spam. We would like to
get our email addresses on as many web pages as possible or find
someway to get our email addresses out there so that they can get
picked up by as many spam bots as possible without resorting to
anything questionable. Any suggestions and feedback would be most
appreciated.

a simple way to do that is to register yourself to many sites and
select a "trird party email" type button, you could also create simple
sites with a certain keyword repeted everywhere on the page and your
email somewhere repeted aswell, try to expose yourself as much as
possible, sign up for "offers" or any kind of popup you can find.

hope that helps :)

I would suggest making some USENET postings. My experience leads me to
believe that spammers sift through the newsgroups for email addresses
(which typically appear on the top of every USENET posting).

I'm afraid I can't remember the source but sometime ago (within the
last year) I read of an experiment in which a group of people
deliberately distributed their email address by various means to
determine if any mechanism led to much more spam than others. That's
as much as I can remember but if you were able to find the report of
that research it might give you some clues on how to get your email
address spammed.

Supremacy,

I answered two questions on how people get spammed. Indeed, the sure
way was Usenet; but it was even better to "opt-out" of email lists
you're never subscribed to in the first place:

Spam "Remove" Opt-outs - Do they really work?

Since spam is an international problem...

There have been several experiments of the type South refered to, one
of them being "Phil Bradley's Great SPAM Experiment. How do we get
spam?" at

If you are looking for SPAM, then you could try http://www.6url.com or
http://mailinator.com, where people use eMails ID, to receive SPAM,
Mail-Accounts-good-enough-to-receive-one-eMail, and others.

You could check any eMail account, which is there in the system, so
you could collect spam from many accounts :)

(there is no password for any accounts, just try any popular name) :)
